In March, Sydney played host to the annual Content Marketing World conference. Having travelled from Ohio to New York to rub shoulders with the world’s Content Marketing gurus in recent years, it was a privilege for BlueChippers to hear from the experts on home turf.

Highlights from the conference included Robert Rose, chief strategist, Content Marketing Institute and author of ‘Managing Content Marketing’, showing why content is increasingly the powerhouse of an organisation. Jonathan Crossfield, content marketing strategist, author and columnist for ‘Chief Content Officer Magazine’, addressed getting the C-level on board with content marketing – a crucial requirement for success. His approach? A guide to hunting HIPPOs (Highest Paid Person’s Opinion).
