BlueChip Communication f:Insights series: April by Katharine Verville

Financial services corporate affairs heads joined together for the first f:Insights roundtable of 2013, hosted by Lynne Machin, of Lloyds International, in April.

The topic of the day was ‘What blurring lines between Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Social Media might mean for your job’.

Attendees shared experiences and insights into how the rise of social media and social marketing has changed and expanded the scope of corporate affairs roles.

Many agreed the lines are in fact blurring between corporate affairs and marketing, with more and more collaboration and integration accompanying the rise of new media.

Team News by Valentina Ciampi

It’s a girl!

On 3 June, our colleague Tamera Lang welcomed a beautiful baby girl – Odette Mackenzie Lang – to the world.  We’re happy to report that proud first-time mum and baby are both doing well. While we miss Tamera we’re extremely happy for her and wish her all the best during this exciting time.

Welcome to the team

We couldn’t be happier to welcome Sophie Schuler as a Senior Account Executive. Sophie has been working with us for some time on a contract basis and we’ve been so impressed by her strong intellect, great organisational skills and media relations prowess that we couldn’t resist the opportunity to ask her to become a fully-fledged BlueChipper. Kia ora, Sophie!

Promotions

BlueChip congratulates both Katharine Verville and Valentina Ciampi on their promotions to Account Executive and Consultant respectively. Both Katharine and Valentina have displayed determination, a strong work ethic and the utmost dedication to delivering the best for their clients. True BlueChippers! Their promotions are well deserved and acknowledge the significant contribution they make to BlueChip. Congratulations Katharine and Valentina!
