The Best Employers of 2014 were announced by Aon Hewitt, another BlueChip client, at the end of May.

The event, held at Doltone House in Sydney’s Hyde Park, saw 16 organisations bestowed Best Employer status before an audience of 300 corporate guests. Of this group, National Transport Insurance was awarded the prestigious ‘Best of the Best’, with the Starlight Children’s Foundation receiving special mention for its outstanding results.

Stephen Hickey, Aon Hewitt Partner and Employee Engagement Lead, explained to the audience that what sets Best Employers apart is their ability to navigate challenging market forces and economic circumstances while increasing employee engagement. This ultimately results in higher sales growth, revenue growth and operating margins.
