In April the FSC Life Insurance Awards were held as a prelude to the FSC Life Conference. Now in its fifth year, the conference is the industry’s must-attend event, covering the latest policy, regulatory and other developments affecting the industry.

The conference delivered a program of both plenary and concurrent sessions, including local and international key speakers and presenters from the industry. The prior awards event recognised outstanding industry representatives and organisations, citing excellence, commitment and service to the sector as demonstrated by a range of achievements.

The award for Innovative Use of Social Media, recognising an outstanding social media campaign from an industry team or organisation in the past 12 months, was sponsored by BlueChip. BT Financial took the honour in this category for its BT Insights campaign, meeting all the stated criteria of originality, creativity and a quantifiable ‘return on investment’ through improved customer engagement, retention, awareness or brand recognition.
