Scott is a strategic communications consultant with both private and public sector experience. Having emerged from an academic background in law, he found a niche in the public relations profession, helping clients who faced regulatory and legal risks to safeguard their reputations.

Before joining BlueChip, he was responsible for handling the media affairs of the Mayor of Cape Town, especially on issues of economic importance. 

Scott uses thorough research and analysis to create evidence-led public relations strategies. In executing those strategies, he follows an audience-centred approach, optimising clients’ reputational outcomes.
